Over the last 5 weeks since being back from holiday in January Ive ben training my progress weekly for you guys to see on social media but thought I’ll go into a little more detail, so here I am with my first blog. I went away to Dubai and Thailand over the space of 16 days for my birthday which was debauchery to put it simply. Drinking, eating everything I wanted and since I was turning 30 it was mostly guilt free…until I came home that was. Back to reality. So I took a start picture when In got home, wrote myself a strict Super Lean personalised plan for myself and my goals over the next 12 weeks, then got to work.
Now I know ALOT of people go through the struggle of getting back into shape after being away, its the worst. Training like mad before you go away to look amazing, going away, indulging everything to then come home to start the process again but with less . motivation as your next holiday is miles away.
So here are some KEY factors to help you that help me stay on focused. First of all, be realistic. Even with a crazy crash diet you’re not going to get back in shape in 4 days, this takes time so have faith. Fun fact: I actually wear a T shirt to the gym most days until I can see my self getting lower body fat haha. Secondly, be consistent. If you are consistent you cant really fail just keeping chipping at it every single day but make sure you have the RIGHT tailored plan (which is where I come in to help you). Thirdly, reward yourself. Don’t be crazy and go all week without eating a carb and then go on a binge on a weekend, have balance. I have a small piece of chocolate most days just for my mental health more than anything but then go a little harder in the gym.
Here is my first 5 weeks from being back, not so easy being 30 to get back into shape than it was when I was 25! Haha! I hope you enjoyed this little read and the tips were useful. Please leave a comment below with any questions you have.
